Overview
Aura: the new immersive augmented reality experience designed to highlight the depth and richness of the Triennale archive. Through a personal, generative, and data-driven journey, thousands of objects, documents, and stories held in the storage rooms are revealed to the visitor, offering connections, details, and data to explore. The digital archive comes to life before your eyes, transforming into a surprising, fluid, and completely new exploration. During the day, you will have the opportunity to preview the installation at Cuore – Study, Archives, Research Center, and meet the project's creators directly. An invitation to discover our heritage in a new way: alive, interactive, and deeply personal.
Process
Concept & Research
Developed the concept and the story of the installation with the help of the Accurat team.
Tracking Development
Used TouchDesigner to develop the tracking system for the installation with the MediaPipe library and plugged gestures to trigger the interactive elements.
Archive Integration
Integrated the archive of the Triennale into the installation, each selection of images of the archive is based on pre generated palette.
